Steam's new draconian region lock for gifting games
I travel a lot to different countries and I like gifting games to friends all over the world, the new draconian region restriction makes it impossible to gift games to friends in another region.Isn't there a better way to allow people to gift games totheir friends in other regions?

You can still gift just don't try and purchase really cheap gifts and expect to gift them to territories where they cost a lot more.

Sometimes the games actually cost more than the regions that I'm gifting them to or even 10% cheaper yet I can't gift them away due to region restriction.

It's a huge problem for people that wants to gift away games to friends in several different countries in the holiday seasons.

You just wait until you cross into a territory that allows grifting or gift them when you get home.

I can't be in all those countries at once and it would be ridiculous to travel to 3 countries just to purchase games to gift them away.

You said you travel a lot so you wait until you get home then gift them all.

What you cant do is buy super low and gift to the regions where they cost more. You can gift from other regions. What you are trying to do is probably buy low and gift/trade "sell" high

That would mean gifting them months apart which would negate the cultural impact of gifting them in a specific season such as christmas-new year.
