Steam and Flash Player
... Which One? I just reformatted this crusty thing and when I went to get the flash player plugin to get Steam to display all the Flash content by, now I'm presented with:
  • FP16 for Internet Explorer - ActiveX
  • FP16 for Opera and Chromium - PPAPI
  • FP16 for Firefox - NPAPI

So, which one does Steam take?

I think anyone works, I installed it for Firefox and the Steam one works fine (Steam browser is Chrome based I believe).

If I'm not mistaken, Chromium, or its fork which is Google Chrome already contains a built-in Flash player. Why do I need to install an out-of-process plugin, again?

You need the NPAPI plugin for Steam.
