Assassins Creed Unity: Can't shoot my pistol!!!

I recently got an XBox One and ACU along with it, I reached the point in the game where I am an assassins with robes and stuff and then theres my pistol. I have the pepper shot pistol ( the one with six barrels that rotate every time you shoot) and I have equipped it so that I should be able to use it by pressing RB. The problem is that when I hold RB over a guard or whoever and then press RT to use it it wont shoot!! WHY!!!! Please help!

I don't own an Xbox One, so I can't offer too much support. I apologize if I can across as a bit of an ass. Have you tried restarting your console? ACU is a buggy game, and that might fix it. Also, make sure your controller doesn't just have that button broken. Try it on a different game. But really, this topic will probaby be removed. Just saying.

Lol my xbox is brand new my controller is fine.

BTW i found out how, just quickly press LB to quick shot or hold LB to aim and RT to shoot.
