Note, this Support Homepage is a page with poppular questions, you'll have to look around to find the right topic.
Apparently Steam Support is understaffed at the moment. Be patient, you will get a personalized answer eventually.
Change your passwords, reset modem and router, don't forget your WiFI. Remember, when an account is hacked, secret question & answer might not be a secret anymore. Support or forum of your AV of choise (i advise to get help cleaning/repairing/resetting your computer and not do that yourself) will advise you on when to change/reset them again.
If you have Real Life friends among your Steam friends, warn them - personally and not via Steam - about your Steam account possibly becomming another spam-adress. See Steam message "Hijacking virus" : http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/1/620696522052434620/
While you await an answer from Steam Support, you can help Steam Support, yourself and all of us by having an expert check your computer. Don't do that yourself, as you need expert proof. Go to Support or forum of your chosen AV or a nearby shop. Give them permission to contact Steam Support and v.v..
Besides, removing malware needs a lot more then just running a scan, if you don't reset modem/router/WiFI and settings of OS, cloudbased services, sound/video & browsers, & don't repair anything nor update, you might be in trouble again within a few minutes.
On this forum there is talk of Steam Support giving items back when it's the first time you got inventory items stolen. Steam is NOT oblidged to redeam all items. They can & will give them back only when they are still in the posession of the culprit when cought. Be advised, the ones who seem to be a culprit often are victims too, they are used as a front.
