Why Wont It Let Me Sit In Chairs or use vheicles

Ive Purchased Gmod And Everythings Working Fine But It Will Not Let me sit in chairs i press the e (use) key but it picks the item up instead of sitting in the chair if someone could help me find the anwser to this it would be very appriciated thxs

well.. As far as Garry's mod is made in source engine there is no way (well it is, you have to mod it) to sit. E= Pick up.

first thing would be checking your keyboard options ingame if E is set to be the use key.

spoof my ingame key is E but so is my pick up key so it picks it yp instead of sitting down

if i remember correct you enter into cars with E too in games like half life 2.
I never tried a chair in a source game.

I don't think you are doing it wrong but there are youtube videos that explain.

Have you spwan the chair/car with the default prop menu or trough the vehicle menu?

im trying to find the grab key in the controls menu but so far ive found nothing if anyone knows if that key is even changable please tell me

Uhm... if you want to sit in a chair, you must spawn the chair trough the vehicle menu

This problem persists to all players, due to the props being unscripted objects and serves no purpose, save cosmetic usages. Should you ever decree to make use of a chair for roleplay purposes, or experiencing fatigue. Select the "Vehicles" tab and simply choose a chair of your liking, a video is much more comprehensive, though
