Steam Games Not Showing Up In Library (How to Fix)
1. After purchasing, make sure that you check to see if you have the license/Subscription for it. If not, reset your internet then try to purchase the game again. You may have to refresh the page after resetting your internet.

2. Once you know that you have the license/ Subscription, try to restart Steam. You may have to restart your computer as well (I recommend doing both). Sometimes Steam needs to update after a reboot. Sometimes it can be a server error when so many people are trying to purchase a game all at once. Continue to check your internet connection. You may have to reset it again. Check to see if Steam is down as well.

3. Still not working? Go to the game's store page and hit the green button that says "Play Now". It will bring up a screen that tells you about space requirements and all that. Just hit "Next". It will then allocate the space requirements. Once that is finished, it will bring you to a page that tells you it's downloading. There's a small link that says "Manage Downloads". Click that link. It will take you to your downloads page. Find the game that is downloading. Pause the download, then "Right-Click" on the game and hit "Set Categories". The game may be hidden, so you'll need to uncheck "Hide This Game In My Library". Once Unchecked, Set a category for the game. Then,go to your library and see if it's there. (This worked for me)

4. Go to C:\Program Files\Steam or C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam. In the Steam folder, find ClientRegistry.blob and delete it. This will force Steam to update, which may help find the purchased game in the library. After the update, look at your library and see if it's there. If not, restart your computer, log back in, then see if it's there.

5. I saw on another post that says to delete everything in your Steam folder except Steam.exe. If you try this I recommend backing up your Steam folder and the games to another part of the computer or to an external device. I'm not exactly sure what happens when you do this, but It may either force Steam to update, or may give you errors asking you to reinstall Steam. I don't recommend doing this but if anyone wants to try this and see what happens go for it.

Don't know how to reset the internet? Follow these steps...

1. Go down to the System Tray and click on the bar icon.

2. Find your internet connection and hit disconnect.

3. Wait about five minutes.

4. Find the connection again and hit connect.

Resetting the Router

1. Find your Router where ever you have it plugged in.

2. Unplug all the cables on the router. Look either on the bottom or the sides for a tiny button that says "Reset". It may be inside a tiny hole so you may need a pen, or a paper clip(bend it to where you can get it in the hole) and hold down for 5 seconds. Then, plug all the cables back into the router. Wait a few minutes for the computer to detect the router. This should work.

Thank you guys, I do my best. I know people have trouble buying and finding their games during the holidays, so I try to give the best advice I can as a PC technician.

Sorry it's taken so long, I apologize. Whenever you go to the Steam Market, and you search for a game that you've already bought, there's a button that will appear that says, "Play Now". If the game isn't already installed, then when you hit that button, the game will download and install.

Hi, that's strange. Try to delete the Steam browser cookies. To do this:

->Go to the Steam menu at the top left hand corner.
-> Hit settings.
-> Find the tab that says "Web Browser"
-> Hit the button that says "Delete Browser Cookies"
->Log out of Steam and Log back in.
-> Whatever game you are trying to find, go back to the game's Steam Market page.
-> Hit "Play Now"
-> If the install/download page comes up, follow the rest of the instructions in my guide.
-> If it does not, reinstall Steam. Don't worry all of your games will still be in your library.
