how to gift please help!

I have bought orion a while ago and I would like to buy it again as a gift but its not allowing me to purchase the games as a gift. it says this

1 Your account already owns some of the above items, so you can’t purchase them again. You can purchase these items as a gift or adjust the contents of your cart to continue.

There should be a 'purchase as a gift" button next to the 'purchase for myself' button. Is the 'purchase as a gift' button missing?

Also, if you are trying to buy stuff for yourself as well, you have to do that as a separate transaction from gift purchasing.

I have bought the single "Primal" to try it out and now want to buy the 4 pack to gift to fiend but the "gift to fiends" button will not highlight to purchase it, it will let me purchase the 4 pack for myself but not to gift, how does that make sense?

Thats Exactly what I have! The "gift to friends" is not highlighted hurry before the sale ends :(

You can't buy a 4 pack if you already own a copy. One of the copies has to go to you.

Yeah, it is on the extra copies support page: "Users who purchase the available four packs for specific Steam titles will receive three extra copies of that title to gift to friends." And since you can only have one copy of a game in your library, it won't let you purchase the 4 pack.

So your telling me I can't buy my fiends a game I own so we can multi-player for Christmas? so how much money do you think they are loosing out on or they just being "Scrooge"

You CAN buy your friends the game, just not the special deal. You have to buy the game individually.
