My Steam Support Messages and Refund Requests automatically close after 5 minutes
They don't even answer to any of my requests. Any tips? Why is this happening?

Might be due to a compromised account.

Do these steps to be sure:
- Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
- Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
- Change your password on a secure device.
- Generate new back up codes. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
- Revoke the api key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey
Are you within the limit of under 2h and 2 weeks? If not its obvious why it was closed.

Thank you. I have done all this. I'll see now if it works. And even if it doesn't, I think it was healthy for my pc. I found two hidden bitcoin miners on my pc after the malware scan.:steamfacepalm:

Better factory-reset your system. Once there's malware on your system, you can't know whether it's really completely gone or not. Better be safe than sorry.

Yeah, I think I might
If you're attempting to override the automatic refund request system because it declined giving you a refund by sending Steam Support a message (opening a support ticket) and that's what's getting closed without a reply it means your request for a refund was declined.

The automatic system shouldn't be closing the request without an answer whether it was approved or denied. Tickets, messages you manually type to Steam Support, have to be closed by a human. Sometimes a human will close a support ticket without replying to it.

Sometimes it takes a while, up to a few days, for refunded funds to appear in our wallet or back in to our bank account. It depends on how the product was originally purchased. If a bank account was used that bank's policies apply. Some bank policies hold refund deposits for up to 14 days. That's something you'll have to check on with your bank if you used a bank account.
Sounds like he has done it many times and know the rules on the subject, and they close all request now.

and as Zukabazuka point out, steam see no point reply with comment on anything.

Steam Support is often very incosistent, just message them a few times and maybe you'll get a nice admin sometimes!

What usually happens is when an account is compromised, the scammers who sit idle on the account automatically cancel any help requests (tickets to support) submitted by the user irrespective of topic. It would appear this was happening unless you were told previous not to submit any further tickets in regards to a refund in which they will cancel without notice.

Yes. It seems they've begun a trend of not replying. I recently asked for a refund this happened to where the manual ticket I typed was closed without a reply. I took that as them declining the manual refund request.

Also true. There's about an 80/20 chance anymore that when we submit a support ticket it's answered by a person who took the time, effort, and care to actually type a reply instead of ignoring it and just closing it or copy/pasting a scripted reply that makes little or no sense and isn't relevant to the issue we're trying to get addressed....because the person was too lazy and didn't care to read what we typed.

Read a few words, close it.
Or read a few words, paste a reply from the script, close it.
Be terrified by the amount of text trying to explain the situation, close it.

Steam's service used to be awesome. It's starting to suck.
Because people suck.

Glad I found out about it then, I think my problem is solved. I followed all of Crazy Tigers tips and issued a new refund, and it hasn't been canceled after 3 hours.
