Can't access my inventory and its been like this for days
I keep getting the "You've made too many requests" error. I've been locked out of my inventory for a few days now, what the heck.

It's an IP rate limit.

A few days? Why now? Why not earlier? Why do more people have the problem?

Valve has made it a bit more aggressive over the past few weeks and yes, there are dozens of recent threads about this exact thing from many users.

Hmm, at least I know its not my internet's fault, I guess. Its really annoying, I hope they fix this soon.
"We recommend that you remove any extensions that automate item and inventory activity, and try again. Please note that after removing extensions, it may take up to a day before you can browse the Market or Steam inventories. Steam Support cannot remove these restrictions."

I had the same issue and contacted Steam Support. I checked my Google browser and it did indeed have this extension. Now I'll wait a day to see if it resolves the issue (I've checked all the browsers I have).

Why is this affecting my Steam client though? I do have the SteamDB extension, but the issue happens even when I'm on the phone app.
