Help: Giving a friend a Game
I am friends with my dad on steam and I want to gift him a game, but I already have it and I don't know how to give it to him, can somebody please help me?

If it's in your Library, you can't. In your Inventory, you can gift directly though Steam or send to an email address.

You need to buy games as gifts, store them in your Inventory so you can gift them. You can not gift games from your Library, they always remain on the account they were first activated on.

Tell your Friend to search the game in the store if its "Free to Play" they will be able to just install the game :)

Is this still accurate? When the sale was on my son bought some games for me but forgot to flag them as a gift. He isn't interested in them but now there is no way he can give them to me?
