Steam didn't ask for Security Code

I just bought The Binding of Isaac.Everytime I bought a game before,I used to write my 3-digit security code during checkout,but this time Steam didn't ask me to write it.Was it stored somewhere or what?

You can remove the payment method there. It's a tickable box to save it (ticked by default) when you make a purchase on the Steam Store.

The box is ticked since I first bought a game on Steam,but Steam still asked me for the Security Code.It's just this time it didn't

Steam asks me for the 3 digit code sometimes and sometimes not. I have wondered about it myself, but since things are working fine, I decided to let it go.
