Dealing With Spam Bots From Scam/Phishing Links.
I have an 8 step method as to dealing with these links.
I learned the easy way (after having this done to me before) but it's quite easy to stop this from happening.

First of all, if you know not to click it, then good.
But if you don't know, then DON'T CLICK IT AT ALL!

(If you have already clicked on the link)
You would have downloaded something from the link. (pay attention to the file type and name) This file places a spam bot/filter on your account and most likely disabled your steam guard.

To stop this from happening, you need to.

1. Open My Documents.
2. Click on the Downloads tab (on the left of that window.)
3. Find the file that you downloaded from the link.
4. DELETE THAT FILE! Delete it from Recycle Bin too.
5. Check your Steam Guard. (Top left: Steam>Settings>Manage Steam Guard and Security)
6. Run scans on your computer for ANY viruses or malware.
7. Change EVERYTHING (steam password, secret question, email passwords etc.) As this link is used to take your information.
8. Check your inventory for any lost valuable items and report to valve if anything is taken.

This is my easy way to deal with the spam bots/filters.
Many other people have done things like this and have discussed what this file is. This is just for people who didn't know about these links and are seeking help.

Hope this helps!
