Get a steam key for a drm free game

i purchased a game from a site without redeeming it yet.I want to know if i can get a steam key in exchange for these keys so i can add it to steam.

Valve does not provide Steam keys for games purchased on other sites without Steam keys. That said, some bundles historically have contained games that were not yet Greenlit or on Steam which initially did not have Steam keys (but rather a DRM free download or Desura key usually) , and the developers later distributed keys to the bundle owners for when the game became Greenlit and sold on Steam.

Generally speaking, no.

Depending on the site, it may also come with a Steam key. Some sites typically offer both Steam key as well if they have DRM-free, such as Humble Store. Some sites don't, such as GOG. For GamersGate, it can vary; check the store page listing or ask the folks in Steam's game forum for that game.

If you bought from a bundle, it is typical -- but not always true -- that a game that was in the bundle before it got on Steam will now have a Steam key. If the game is already on Steam, it typically comes with Steam key and DRM-free, or Steam key only.
