Is there a limit to how many screen shots we can upload to steam?
Steam won't let me upload any more screen shots and I'm wondering is there is a limit. I know when I would upload a shot it would show some kind of space usage or something but it never seemed to really run out but for the last couple of days It keeps giving me an error message saying that it's unavailable. Is there a limit? I do have 9,313 screen shots and about 2,000 more that I needed to upload.:bandit: P.S. if it makes any difference I did opt in to steam beta just the other day and get a new update that a lot of people don't have.

The limit is 2GB. If you haven't reached that, then sometimes uploading just doesn't work and you'll have to try again later.

I don't believe that there is any limit I know of, but perhaps they had to implement one to save bandwidth. That is a lot of screenshots, do you actually need that many?

How do i check how close I am to that limit and where do they tell you that beause that would have been helpful to know before hand. Is there any way to get more?

It tells you in the little window before you click Upload. You can't get more.

Says I have 901 MB but it still won't let me upload even one 177KB image.

each pic takes avg 200kb

20000mb/0.200mb=100K pics so

25000 screens and now i can't upload, 8 month and same problem :(...ca i fix this?

25,116 screenshots, now it says 0 bytes data, cannot upload as no data
a friend tipped me off too a screenshot limit
sadly there are not many articles on this subject

maybe someday valve will upgrade the limit again, as found the limit use to be much smaller
then they upgraded it
well they need to upgrade for us again.... limits should not be in place
more so as were always getting new games and uploading new screenshots :ALgloomEmoji:
