Timezone may be off or something; how do I edit?
I host events using the calender on my group page, but for some add reason, when I host the event, it puts up the alert 2 hours BEFORE the actual event is to take place. I'm assuming because of this, my steam thinks my timezone is EST instead of PST or something?

Well that's weird because of Valve being PST and most everyting in Steam is timed PST. Is your computer clock right? What download server are you set to? I am trying to think of anything that would put you at a different time or place.

My computer clock is correct currently. Forgive me for sounding like an idiot but I get confused with timezones. Anyway, I live in california so my friends have told me I'm PST, yet my computer is set to central time US Canada, that's when it tells the correct time, otherwise, when I have the time set to pacific time, it goes all the way back to 11:14am which is incorrect.

I use the download server, Sacramento.

If Central time is showing you the correct time, then try this:

Set to your correct timezone (PST)
In the "Adjust date/time" menu, click the "Internet Time" tab. Then click "Change settings". Click "Update now". It will probably fail the first time; try again.
