How to reddem game from steem ?? please help

I just bought a game off ebay and i received the code for it. But when i go to get gane under store it ask to add game to cart ? iT TAKES ME THROUGH A CHECKOUT. i HAVE THE CODE I JUST NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME ?? ANY IDEAS ??

I have never activated a key, but try this, at the bottom left of the steam client it says + ADD A GAME... Click on that and then you have a choice to activate a product on steam.

Be careful buying games from Ebay. Many people sell used game codes, which cannot be reactivated. Just a heads up.
