PLEASE HELP: TRIDEF 3D no longer works with steam. Any idea how to fix?

TRIDEF 3D is an awesome, but admittedly, outdated piece of software that I have been using for years. It allows me to convert my video games into 3D which is aaaaaamazing. Sadly, it seems one of the later patches to steam now causes none of the Steam games to load.

Does anybody have any idea how to get TRIDEF 3D to work again with steam games?

PS: I've tried everything... but nothing works. I did see someone online somewhere say to click on "Restart steam with browser sandboxing disabled" when steam fails to load but that does NOT work. I also tried playing the games offline but that doesn't work either. :(

Company went bankrupt in 2018 and from that point on, the software was basically end-of-life. Do expect more legacy software to fall apart as Steam evolves further.

VorpX apparently supports SBS 3D for polarized separated 3D displays and beamers and also supports VR devices, is not available for free, but still worked on.

Ironically.. the TRIDEF 3D software is STILL awesome and STILL works.. the problem is that it will no longer work with Steam. Hence, I'm getting tired of buying games on steam.. and then having to buy the identical same game somewhere else a second time to get them to work with my software.

The fact is... TRIDEF 3D still works.. and it works with games AND other online services such as Ubisoft, etc.

O well... I'm not a fan of pirating.. but I'm getting tired of buying the same thing over and over.

IF ANYBODY FIGURES OUT A WAY TO GET TRIDEF 3D SOFTWARE TO WORK ONCE AGAIN WITH STEAM LIKE IT PREVIOUSLY DID, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. IN THE MEANTIME, LOOKS LIKE I'M STUCK GETTING MY GAMES ELSEWHERE. :(

Having the same problem now after not playing in stereoscopic 3d for a while :/
I suggest try downgrade steam client to an older version and prevent it from auto update. there are some forums on that. I will update if that works for me.

Yo homie, it does work. You need to not use the steam choice but the first choice, browse shortcut or executable. Go to the base folder instead of using the shortcut too, which will be your steam\steamapps\common\game folder and find the exe there, and it will work.
