Again steam failed using IDEAL

Trying to buy a game, but the steam browser is so OUTDATED it wont even work with IDEAL anymore. What to do besides going to a REAL browser to actually be able to purchase a game?

Steam uses a recent version of Chromium. If Ideal doesn't work with a recent version of Chromium that's not really Steam's issue. Of course randomly casting blame with claims about stuff you assume is also probably a problem. After all Valve can't fix made up problems that doesn't exist.

Also if you find the steam client's browser so inferior, why don't you log into store.steampowered.com on your normal browser and buy games through it?

That was not helpful , I'm trying to find a fix for this issue. I know i can order a game through store.steampowered.com but this is not the solution. I used to be able to order with ease through the steam client. And since about a month I'm not able to order anything in the client. I also have this same issue on my other PC. Its not my bank, can pay anything without problems. So what is the issue?

If IDEAL is blocking embedded browsers then you will no be able to fix it. Your only option will be to use a normal browser.

Edit: Paypal users have to deal with the same thing. Valve cannot force either company to stop blocking embedded browsers.
