Custom screenshots
Hey guys, good afternoon. it's possible to upload a custom screenshot on Steam? I took a screenshot, and I want to add color grading to use it in my profile showcase. I've tried following some guides and watching videos on YouTube, but it hasn't worked for me. So, is it possible, and if yes, how can I do it?

If you want the screenshot to be associated with a specific game, then take the screenshot in game but do not upload it. In the screenshot menu (View > Screenshots) select the image, then press the little folder button which means "show on disk". File explorer will open and you will see your unedited screenshot file.

Edit that exact file, restart Steam, and View > Screenshots should show your edited screenshot. You can then select it and press upload.

Your best bet is likely editing the picture in a 3rd party program such as photoshop, paint, etc. Then uploading it as an artwork, not a screenshot.

Upload it with steascree.

Thank you all, I tried this one and it works.
SteaScree was not working for me. The only method I could find which worked was adding VLC player as a non-steam game (or program, I guess) and running it, then opening a screenshot I took from playing an Epic Launcher game for example, and fullscreening VLC player, then pressing F12 in Steam to take a shot. Now steam would let me upload it. But I had to label the screenshot with the game's name since it's now not properly under the game in Steam where I was trying to load the screenshot (for example, Zombie Army 4). But at least this way I can get my outside-of-Steam screenshots onto my profile. May this post hopefully help someone else in the future.
