Hello, I have a Steam account and I forgot both my ID and E-Mail. I want to access my Steam account, but I can't remember anything. I just want to know what E-Mail or ID this account uses so I can recover my account. How do I do it?

contact Steam Support for account recovery even if you've forgotten the account's email address, password, and phone number. as instructed for the search will help Steam identify your account, or present other options for locating an account if the email address is incorrect.

Do you know the account name (not the same as profile name)?

Do you have any proof of ownership?


Recover your account:

You must be logged out of all accounts to start the account recovery process.

You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the hijacked/hacked/stolen/lost account for this to work. Just pick the "I do not have access..." or a similar option when asked.

The recovery process allows you to provide proof of ownership.

Do you not have any backups of old copies of this file?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\loginusers.vdf

(Assuming Steam was always installed at the default location.)

Because that contains the Account Names of all accounts that have ever logged in.
