Is it still possible to create custom templates for a xbox controller?

I have created templates before, I use my controller in many games who doesn't officially support controllers, games like civ, conquest of elysium etc.

I have created templates for my xbox one controller before but now I can't do it anymore. Either it is no longer possible or I have just forgot how to do it. I have searched internet but all instructions keep saying that I should open controller setting and press the button at the bottom. I see no such thing.

Have they removed the whole custom templates creation thing or am I just stupid?

Nevermind, I managed to figure it out. I describe how if there is someone else who is struggling with the same thing:
Right click on the game you wan't to change the controls for and select "manage->controller layout" or press the controller icon, click the cog wheel, choose "export layout" and in the "export type" you select "new template".
