PSN Cash Cards on Steam

So a few weeks ago, my brother received a PSN Cash card as a gift from a friend, but the problem is that we don't own a PS console that uses the cards. But since that Steam can allow PS users to log on, can I put a PSN Cash card on my steam account?

No, that won't work. PSN cash cards only works for Playstation store.

Login with PS3 is only used in combination with Portal 2. You can't use it for other stuff.

Wow, that is a really far fetched thought. Just because ONE game uses Steamworks you jump to the conclusion that Valve accepts Sony money?
