Steam Gift Cards Via Best Buy Don't Work

So I bought a Steam gift card from Best Buy when they had a sale a couple of weeks ago. The card doesn't work and I've spent 3 weeks trying to get anyone from Best Buy or Steam to help, each party tells me there's nothing they can do. I looked online and saw that lots of other people who bought Steam cards also got screwed.

Moral of the story: don't buy Steam gift cards from Best Buy. You won't get your money back if they don't work.

I've purchased those cards from BestBuy without issue.

If you're having issues, its likely because you scratched the #s off

Frankly, using online payment methods is easier anyway. I use PayPal.

The numbers are fine, but apparently Best Buy didn't activate the cards before they shipped them from the fulfillment center, so lots of people are getting cards that don't work. :( I tried contacting Incomm (super rude woman answered) so I guess we'll see where that goes.

Usually I just use PayPal, but the Best Buy sale was $40 for a $50 Steam card, so I was like hey, good deal! Except now I just lost $40. lol
