PC,
i've tried restarting my router and pc.
deleted clientregistry.blob.
I can go into offline mode, but i can't access dota 2 (it gets stuck in waiting for server)
nope, didn't set it to offline, and still can't get my steam client into online mode :/
HKCU / Software / Valve / Steam
click on Steam and to the right you should have a line that says Offline 1 - change it to Offline 0
managed to turn my blue border back on, tried to run the browser chat and it forced it from offline to online.
borrowed a friends phone for internet, managed to log in. I'm starting to think it's my ISP (weird time to suddenly block it)
I'll update you if it is my isp.
Thanks anyway.
Good news, bad news.
Good news, my roommate can access steam just fine (his account didn't go offline at all). Bad news is I'm now even more confused on why this happened.
We share our internet with our neighbor and they too can't connect through the steam client. Any idea what's going on. The problem occured around 2 am on Sunday (locally)
