How do i install COH without steam downloading it cause download 5.5 it takes a day with my internet i have the CD why doesnt install by the CD Help?

Because games are constantly updated, Steam by default ignores the CD and attempts to download the game. There is an article explaining how to force it to install from the CD, let me find it...

Because the CD is for the old gamespy version which no longer exists, now there is the Steamworks version which had a lot of changes under the hood. Even if you could use your CDs, it would require a lot of changes that it doesn't really make a difference.
