Help <- i know this aint an appropriate tile but
I got hacked once and im traumatized... and now i recieved this link from someone through steam, could this be a hack link? *REMOVED* I'm not sure what it is, but what do you guys think?

Yes, it's a virus, you should remove it from this post so nobody clicks on it... :cindersskull:

Don't trust random links from strangers. Or friends either, for that matter... people who send those links are often victims themselves, and it automatically uses their Steam account to send those messages.

Please edit the link out of your post. Secure your computer. Scan for viruses and malware. Change your password and email password. Enable SteamGuard if it isn't already enabled.

I opened the link on my phone, does it affects my phone the same way as it is to pc?

I expect it targets Windows. If your phone runs Android, you are probably okay. Steam is available on mobile devices though, so I can't say for sure.

Well, yes and no. The link cannot compromise your account simply by being sent to you. So you are fine in that regard. However your account was still accessed by somebody else, so you need to secure your computer and account.

my account that got hacked is my old account, this is a new one.
