When do steam support staff work?
Do they work holidays and weekends or just week days?

My ticket has been sitting there the day before thanksgiving. Still no response for a hijacked account on lock. How did you guys get such a speedy answer? I do have a well made ticket with good information and not a novel.

I need to get in touch with the support but since I have used this feature only once so far I have forgotten my password and requested a new one. I got a message "Instructions on how to reset your password have been sent to you by email." but there is nothing in my e-mail and yes, I've checked the spam folder. This was hours ago. How long do I have to wait for those instructions to arrive? Usually when other sites send me such mails I receive them instantly.

Maybe you have changed your e-mail without you knowing?
Also you might just wanna try resending it or keep on trying passwords till one works.

My only experience with customer service has been that it is non-existent. You don't even get the courtesy of a response when you are having a problem. They have earned the bad reputation that they have when it comes to customer service.

that's not possible because I have written it myself when they asked me to enter user name/email. and after I have written it and submitted it I got the message "Instructions on how to reset your password have been sent to you by email." still, no instructions :(

Finally I got those instructions and was able to reset my password, it took me some time to get in touch with the support and fill in a ticket cause it seems the help desk has a lot of issues but still I sent a ticket. I hope I get a reply before the year is over.
