"Moderation Queue"

I joined the forums 3 or 4 days ago to get help with a game, but I couldn't post a message, because "Your account has been activated but you are currently in the moderation queue to be added to the forum." I checked back today, and I still get that message when I click the link in the email. When the hell are they gonna get around to adding me?

I think he's talking about those "other" forums that Steam has.

I was in that queue for months (mostly because I forgot about it, and when I checked back much later I still wasn't accepted). Made a support ticket, got a pointless answer, but for some reason I got accepted as well :-)

It was one of those cases where I thought that tickets might be read by 2 people -- one who's actually able to read and understand things, and one who's just making up stupid answers.

Post here in help and tips or go to the game hub on steam. You dont need the old legacy forums to ask a question. Right click the game in your steam client and select "community hub" then click on discussions to access the game forum on steam.

What's wrong with using the community hub here? There is one for nearly every game and your Steam account is all the auth needed.
