installing adobe flash player for steam help

i guys i need to update the flash player for steam but adobe have changed the names or the downloads avalible for other flash player downloads on there site. can anyone tell me how to install the flash player now please?

Here's the link for Flash player on adobe.com. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Always update from Adobe and not from anywhere else. You can set Flash player to auto update. When downloading I suggest unchecking the McAfee addon box.

there are three new types of downloads though, it use to just be called other but now thats gone i don`t know which one to download for steam?

That article is out of date. The choices now are only
PPAPI (Chromium and Opera)
NPAPI (Firefox)
Anyone know which to use?

i didn`t think you needed to install flash player anymore with with steam. i have installed steam 3 times since i started this tread and i haven`t needed to install it once.

necroposters not aware of the fact that over the past year Steam began to use the latest version of Chromium Embedded Framework + added support for html5
now the many of the support articles are obsolete
only a statistic page still uses the old flash http://store.steampowered.com/stats
Also, in Windows 10 has built-in flash

NPAPI support for chrome stopped a while ago. Use hmtl5 for chrome, videos on the steam store and steam overlay work just fine. You can possibly enable npapi using developer flags in chrome.
