I tried typing COC OLDbluepalacewing01 and COC bluepalacewing01 in console, and from the looks of it, the Pelagius wing exists somewhere, but it's all corrupted and screwed up. It's as if I'm still using that mod, because the wing is altered and REALLY HUGE, but I'm not anymore and it shouldn't be effecting my game anymore >:P. WTF
We've uninstalled the mod, deleted all files assosciated with it, uninstalled Skyrim, uninstalled Nexus Mod Manager, did a hard deletion of ALL folders related to Skyrim, and reinstalled the game WITHOUT any mods.
The door is still missing. How in the hell can a fresh install still be missing what a mod messed up??
The link to the mod in question is in Grimalkin's first post. :( Any help would be appreciated.
wowszer: Well, we've tried a little of both. When she was first running into the problem, she was trying the same saves she's been using. After so much time trying to fix this, we've deleted all her saves to play it safe.
So as of right now, she has a lvl 1 character who's run all the way to Solitute, right inside the Blue Palace. So every time we try something new, we load up, and we're right there to see if the door is still missing.
I did try what you mentioned, make a new save after mod was gone, but it's still the same results. :(
We did all of the above, and unfortunately, door still missing. >_o
Try this guide...

...do not skip any steps! One of the big "tricks" to troubleshooting anything is to toss out all your preconceived notions, the things you think you know and all assumptions.
Doing that shouldn't hurt, but if it is problems with the system (which is what I expect the recommendation was aimed a sussing out) I would expect a mostly random result (not the exact same thing being broken each time).
So, I let Steam download all her mods again, ran BOSS, and tried it again. Door was still there. :D
That evening after she came home from work, she reinstalled her Nexus mods. That's when the door disappeared again. So, we uninstalled/reinstalled again(just to play it safe). After some messing around, I think I figured out what was happening and causing it all to be frustrating.
I believe the initial Pelagius Wing mod she installed clashed with some other mods, and corrupted some files within said mods. That was the initial problem. Now why it took so long to correct is we had a save that was right before character creation(makes it easier to make alts) that was corrupted.
So while we deleted all the mods, we kept the save to make it easier to create characters to check and see if the door is fixed. So theoretically the save file was borked, which in turn re-borked the mods we downloaded again. Then I'd delete all saves, start from absolute beginning, and find things were still borked with the mods.
It wasn't until I deleted all mods, then all saves, reinstalled vanilla, and started from absolute beginning w/o mods that the game started working again. The mrs. has now been slowly reinstalling all her mods, checking every so often to make sure the door remains there.
Oddly enough, she has every single mod she had before installed(except the Pelagius Wing home mod), and everything is back to normal. So I'm not sure why or how that mod messed things up, but we'll be avoiding that mod from now on. XD
