Because when you use the topsellers list you get 22 pages, with your link only 8 and you have DLCs added to it. Doesnt work this way, i tried it already.
I mean, you have the option to choose on the shop page to get to the Early Access Section. Once this section/page was structured with every Early Access Game listed in the first list sorted by release date (newest on first page). This made it easy to keep track of new ones so you could look at them. Now you only get most liked new released Early Access Games. This is ending after 2 pages and not showing EVERY new release and you cant change that view as you can on the standard front page with the button "show all new releases" to get the full list.
I just cant find a full list of Early Access Games right now. Even more, when getting to the page explaining what Early Access Games are, you get a number on top of how many Games exist at the moment in that section. It then tells you to click "here" to view all those games. But guess what, it just leads you back to the page you already got before just showing you the 2 pages of most liked new releases. Applause Steam, thats useless design at best.
They had kind of a good system before giving you a good overview and if you digged further, the search option provided you also options to limit your search in the Early Access Tab.
All i want is the standard Early Access Tab working showing me all games.
Either i missed a button or a tab showing me this or they simply failed again with their design.
We could also use your suggestion, but that would kind of work around a problem and just starts me asking why they then even have the Early Access Tab when its useless and you have to do a customized search, which in my view is much more complicated than just doing the first one correct.
I cant find any section anywhere on Steam getting me a real overview about them without either taking some away or adding games that shouldnt be on the list.
I guess what you mean is the feature many people wanted to get rid of Early Access Games showing up on the front page for them and thats easy. But vice versa, getting information about them, seems to be a lot harder now. And i dont want to do long research everytime i want to check new released Early Access Games.
Btw as a sidenote, the Topsellers list showing all early access games (just in a not choosable order because its listed in how well they sell, ofcourse), is bugged. It A:doesnt get me further than page 11 then it doesnt change the pages anymore and B: it weirdly changes the currencies and i suddenly have other currencies even mixed together. I suddenly had on one page Crowns, Dollar and something else but no Euro anymore.

So this means, that the only list that would show all available titles (listed after topsellers) isnt working.
Another list showing ALL Early Access Games, doesnt exist. Its that simple. When you want to see all games being currently under Early Access, you just cant.
The search function of Steam is the worst since Bing. When yo uwant to get all Early Access Games under the search function, have fun, its not possible to get all early access games there, in fact it shows games being not under early access. Either some never were under E.A. or were released and are out of Early Access.
Also many filter options dont work.
Searching the web for a list of all games being currently under Early Access on Steam gives you nothing. No third party list or such stuff. Trying to get on a full list of all Early Access Games on Steam, wont work, although it says that there are hundrets of Early Access games available and asks you to click on a button to show them, this only gets you to the already existing overlay showing you the classical tabs with Topseller, Trending, Current offers and upcoming releases. All of which are useless. One only shows games with a current discount, one only shows games limited to a bunch of pages, the other one is bugged and doesnt work past page 10 or so, thus not working, the other tab is useless because it shows upcoming and not current games. And even upcoming is useless because many entries of games are happening at the moment when they get released on Early Access and are not shown before.
Which leaves only one option, keep track of all new releases of Steam every day and look at all the games and whether they are Early Access games or not and then use the wishlist to create your own list.
Valve/Steam is currently unable to create a working steam shop layout for Early Access Games. Meaning that games being released there and not instantly being hyped by people and so getting on the top page of Topsellers or Trending games, those games are disappearing and you cant find them.
In fact i even sometimes had the name of a game already and the search function wouldnt show me the game with typing it in, while it existed on Steam and already had a shop page.
This happened three times now and i only was able to track the page via an external link using my browers.
Yeah, thats the story of the steam shop for Early Access Games right now. Have fun releasing games there and expect them to be bought. Wont happen when you are unlucky and people dont already know the name of the game.
