Yes, they ripped off a charity to make money! This site is pretty much part of the scum of the internet and if you lost money you deserve it by buying from them.
They even sold you a key that doesn't work. Hope you're happy to have saved so much money with that cheap offer.
Also, Humble Bundle's keys used to be in CD-key format, it wasn't always via the API.
The shop that was mentioned here, that is filtered by the forum word filter is in fact unauthorized.
You're both forgetting that the reason you don't get CD keys from HumbleBundle any more is because people were reselling them at huge markups - probbaly through sites like the one in the OP's post.
Actually, Humblebundle used to give you the keys like other shops do.
I believe part of the reason why the API to redeem keys via a 3rd party site was (at least to some extent) introduced to prevent such "buy keys from bundlesites and sell them for cheap" schemes. I can't pretend to know all shops and bundlesites, but Humblebundle and Indiegala no longer give you keys (I believe Bundlestars still does), whereas Greenmangaming or Amazon still give you keys like they always did. I guess there isn't enough money to be made by buying keys from a proper game store and reselling them.
EDIT: as a sideeffect, the key-redeem-API now allows Humblebundle to add time limits to their stuff. Giveaways (not purchases) from humblebundle tend to come with a note attached to them that they have to be redeemed by a certain date, so you can't just hoard 1000 Tropico-3 giveaways and do something evil with them later on.
you sure its a steam code?
