Overwatch banned by griefing - Am I going to be able to trade my cs:go items again?

I recently got overwatch banned by griefing for 30 days. 19 days remaining.

I am now in doubt if I will be able to trade my cs:go stuff again,cuz i saw this:

If a VAC Ban (for any game), cooldown or overwatch ban has been registered on your account, you will no longer have access to the CS:GO store, or be able to make trades for CS:GO items, and you will no longer receive item drops. You will still have access to your items that were acquired before the ban/cooldown.

I mean my ban is temporary,I'd like to know if someone that passed the same situation as me got the same ban and if they were able to trade again.

I contacted someone from this reddit that he got banned by griefing too and he said after the ban he was able to trade again but that was 4 months ago,probably something changed.

try to send a trade offer to one your offline friends and cancel it right away if it goes through and you will have your answer ;)

If that's what the support article says, that's how it is. If you want to use someone else's servers and make things unpleasent for people trying to enjoy their free time, be prepared to face the consequences.

Actually, I believe that means if there's an active overwatch ban -- otherwise everyone who ever had a cooldown would be banned from trade.
