The majority of PC users are using Windows 7. It'd be stupid not to support Win7 with DX12. Unless they force it for Win10. D:
Here's for hoping. :ss13ok:
Wouldn't be the first time that Microsoft does a dumb decision, remember Halo 2 on PC as Vista exclusive? Which wasn't necessary in the first place as it was a 32Bit Dx9 game which would have run fine on XP, which the majority of players was still using.
To no surprise, the game flopped big time on PC.
There's no reliable source claiming anything. So sit down, drink tea and wait.

Exactly why I'm hoping. Microsoft isn't the best with decisions.

I still have my Halo 2 PC copy. :ss13ok:

Skip to 5 minutes in and listen from there. It's a more reliable source than anything.

When you find your self on a computer, it's very informative. Be sure to check it out, and hope Microsoft doesn't do something stupid. :)
All he says is "We know there is a huge install base of Win7 and we are discussing how to deliver that experience to them"

That is MS speak for "Upgrade to Windows 8"
