I redeemed gift and game key but cant trade or add friend
hi. i dont know why i cant trade or add friend in steam :|
error : some features of steam will be available when you have games in your account.

i redeemed a counter strike global offensive Gift and a steam random key (Darkout game )
and i have sniper elite v2 in my acc( i got it when it was free )

i sent ticket to steam support 3 times ! but they never answer.
i sent the first ticket last week and still no answer

Keys and free games don't count. Gifts should count, but only if it was a gift purchased through Steam and then given to you. You need something on your account that has been purchased from Steam.

Well, the gift thing confuses me. And they don't have to be purchased from the store -- I used a gift to unlimit an account that came with another game, which in turn came as a key to my main account.

i purchased the cs:go gift from someone .

is it possible to gift games without steam ? are not all gift bought from steam ? ?

if it was a steam gift it should work if it was a key than not.

it says cs go is retail.
and darkout is retail too !

so that does not count and it was not a gift it was a retail key you bought.

so what is the cheapest steam game ? i mean very very cheap :D like a few cents ? ?
can anyone gift me a game just to unlock my trade ? ? ? i can give you some cs go case or skin

pls somone help ! i cant buy from steam cause in my country paypal or creditcard or ets is not suppoted

you have friends no need to ask here.
you can trade your cs:go items no problem I did that a few times with people like you.

Just to add, even after you get your first game through Steam or fund your wallet, i'm pretty sure you still have to wait 30 days *after that* before you can Trade or use the Community Market.

So even if you get Bad Rats today you won't be using the Community Market or Trading until Feb 16th or 17th or something, depending on your time zone.

only the market has a cooldown and is not unlocked with gifts anyway.
what the OP claims to be the only option.

i dont have any friends in steam :D i have 2 friend but its my brother and neighbour :D they cant buy game too

im finding someone who can gift me game :D if anyone can help pls tell me

not being able to get €0.24 online in 2015 is really sad.

take your inventory off private and I see what I can do.
