2 accounts on same computer

Hi. If someone has an account on the same computer as yours and they download a cheat for there account on that computer will it affect your account. The game the cheat is for is tf2 and no im not a cheater i've been wrongfully VAC banned because of a situation stated above and I am curious and I know that Valve won't unban my account. Suppose thats they nature of the beast.

I wouldn't risk it. Never let anyone else use your machine if possible. Installed cheats for another account may be detected by VAC when your account connects to a secured server.

Miraculously the other account person used his socialistic brain and went on youtube to look up cheats. They banned me on the first day:D

I like how you took the moral high ground as well calling me a liar. Most people do that as well but when they get vac banned they spew the same story as the people who really were not in the wrong and the both suffer the same f8 of having those ugly red letters forever.

If someone downloads a cheat on your computer, yes, you can be banned for it being on your computer.

OHHHHHHH. I am truly sorry. I am just used to seeing all the people "My friend account was banned.." I thought thats what you were meaning. Once again I am truly sorry for lashing out. Maybe I should buy that hammer. The person really isn't a"friend" especially not now. We are room m8s who both happen to like gaming. I suppose to some people the ban isnt a big deal but steam can be a facebook jr. and if your clan buddies se that you can be kicked.

if u get a VAC Ban, it's for cheating or software which is using the game process. U can use a 2nd account on ur computer.

True that's what I do now been playing team fortress 2 for a long time on it. I just wish there was a rehabilitation period were your banned for a certain amount of time. There really is no reason why it should be forever unless valves main concern is money. Think if someone cheats again it's not like murder it only affects them just ban them again for a year.

Honestly I don't know why VAC banned people tend to make this comparison, it's absurd. Yet I see it so often. Apples and emperor penguins.

As far as "roomie who isn't even a friend really" using your computer, that's entirely on your head. You need to learn about computer security and lock it up so he cannot access it. Firmly tell him not to touch your machine anymore and password the logins. There's no reason you need to put up with this.
