You should focus on easy experience first. Might open your mind and 'search' skills to find answers elsewhere (Your questions ain't unique).
If you have any questions about steam or games, don't hestitate to ask. But help on creating your game? this ain't the right place for that. You can find other forums that are specialized in creating games.
Example :
www.google.com
www.reddit.com/r/gamedev
Anyway, good luck. And don't forget the community/forums on UDK/Unity/Cry websites.
Make ANYTHING
Seriously. Just make something. Dont worry about the engine, assets, genre or whatever. Just MAKE something. ANything. Use RPG maker, use Flash, Ruby, whatever.
You're just starting out and you've got a lot to learn. You're really not ready to just jump into blender or whatever and make a game. That's just not how it works. Start small, something simple. It doesnt ahve to work. It doesn't ahve to be the next minecraft. You'll likely fail. It'll likely be bad. But that's OK. It is. Ask any dev and they'll have a slew of 'this is my first game and man it was so horrible wtf was I thinking!'. What you need to do is to design->plan->execute
You'd be suprised how hard that 3 step process is, even for a simple game.
Start small. Create often. You will fail. Learn. Fail again. Learn. Repeat
Good luck.
