My friend asking how to remove restriction in community market. He enable his steamguard. Do he need to purchase any game? How much is the minimum in order to lift the restriction?

He has to buy something directly from Steam If he doesn't want something right away then he can buy $5 in steam wallet funds and that wil count.

I did it yesterday for another account buying bad rats as a gift and the market will unlock for that account.

he will need to restart steam after the purchase and than the unlock message apear on the market place.

No price limit whatsoever, but your friend will have to wait 30 days since his first purchase before being able to use the Market. And after 365 days he'll need to make another one.

Oh, and tell him to NEVER turn off SteamGuard: it requires to be active for 15 days straight before being able to use the Market (and trading).

And disabling Steamhuard is an extremely dumb idea for security reasons.

Yep, he could either get a giftcard and activate it on steam for 5$, and it will count, or make a buy on steam.
He could also make the payment of 5$ and choose what to buy in a later date.
