Is "Hi bro do you need it?" a virus link?
Someone named *REMOVED* sent me a profile message saying "Hi bro do you need it? captures-web screenshot (I'm not posting the exact link since Steam said it was spam)"
I googled it and this exact message is on a ton of profiles, is it a virus link? Just google "steam hi bro do you need it captures-web screenshot?" and you'll see what I mean

yes it is those are second opinion malware scanners.
I have never seen a real good residential virus scanner like avast norton mcafee.
they all allow crap to pass in my world.

no need for the pro trial uncheck that box.

hitman pro also helped me clean some systems good but you can only use it free one month but worth to give it a run.
just need to enter an email pretty simple.
Is Malwarebytes an antivirus or an antispyware?

Thank god I didn't touch it, visited the webpage then immediately deleted the file that downloaded. Thankfully these kinds of files cant execute unless the user is idiotic enough to run them manually.
Sooo... even If this file was downloaded without running nothing shall happend?

I downloaded it accidentally... Trying to copy/paste and search that url in chrome but missclicked... After that I scanned this file with Avira, which says nothing about it :P and deleted file completly.
Bait+story+steps= classic scam

Uh, if your inventory is still there and your bank account hasn't made any recent transactions that's how you know you're fine. It's just a different way for a scammer to infest SteamStealer into people's computers, a program that allows someone to make purchases/empty inventories.

How do I check my bank account? And what's so important about inventory? It's just trading cards worth like 3 cents each
