I got a r.a.t into my pc... Pc/steam hijacked please help :(
So my pc got a r.a.t (remote access trojan , remote administration tool) on december 30st i got it through skype (this guy sent me a file and i was stupid enough to click download) so i ran the .exe and then ♥♥♥♥ started happening... My webcam turned on my mouse was moving and the guy ( Phantom http://steamcommunity.com/id/PhantomDaBest ) sent a message to my friend. So then he logged in my account and traded all of my cs go items to his account . You can see all the items in his inventory i linked his profile above. I lost really good skins and a knife which adds up to around $200. After i noticed that all my items were gone which was like 2 minutes later it happened i shut down my pc... Then after like 30 mins i logged back in and did a factory reset to when i got my pc so i wiped my pc and deleted everything off of it ( which is the only way to get a rat off your pc ) then i contacted support telling them this story and i told them all the info they needed... Now i created the ticket on december 31st and its what january 12th when are they going to reply exactly? And will i be getting my items back because in starting to lose hope :(

SCAN for viruses, I'd do a reformat and backup a few things and change password and contact steam support on HTTPS secured website. Also if you're using Windows 7 make sure Remote Assit is OFF.
Scan for viruses. Do an offline scan, that is get a bootable CD/USB virus scanner. Reactively running a virus scanner from within the infected system is a placebo.
I changed my passwords to all of my emails i forgot to mention and i have a VPN and i got avast anti virus so my pc is secured
Use a two way firewall as well.
But its really important that there is no way the malware can be there anymore!

How do you know your PC is secured? Did Avast remove the virus?
But the only thing im worried about is will i get my items back

How do you know your PC is actually clean? "I have Avast" isn't the right answer. Did it at least remove the virus?

Assuming the virus is just a remote access tool without further tricks up it's sleeve, a factory reset is enough. However, I wouldn't feel secure if I were you.
Well nothing happened after 2 weeks i got the rat so i feel secured
