HELP!!! Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror Remastered

So I have downloaded and installed Broken Sword 2 Remastered edition, installed my Direct X even Open AL, when I start the game I have basic sound effects, but no opening FMV or voice acting. I have trolled everywhere and no one seems to have a solution to my problem. Anyone else encountered this? And no, I didn't get the game from Steam, OR a torrent.
