No full access to Steam with a Game Code

I bought "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive STEAM CD-KEY GLOBAL" from G2A and I had no problem activating and downloading the game but I still don't have full access to steam. I never had a game on steam before so I don't know how it works but I should get full access to all features. If someone had this problem before and know what to do then please help me.

Maybe you don't have access to all features because you did not buy that game on Steam? You have to buy either that game or another one for access to the market.

You should have full access to everything; but the Steam Market if you did activate a bought copy of a game through Steam.

You have to buy the game from Steam. Activating a game on Steam that you bought somewhere else doesn't do it.

What I said above has apparently been changed since I last looked at the FAQ. (Probably due to the increased amount of promotions involving free CD-keys for games.)

Retail activated copies no longer free you from the limited priviledges.
