Anyone recommend any good Metroidvania games in Steam?
I've been craving a good Metroidvania game for awhile now, but with all the douches tagging anything as anything, Its been kinda hard to find stuff. The last game I played that could pass as a Metroidvania was Unepic. I tried Rogue Legacy, and while it had a bit of the flavor, it was more a rouge-like with a Metroidvania Skin (which it does not try and pretend its not).
Anyone have any Recommendations?

Have you tried Guacamelee. Very fun game, cool art style.

La Mulana, Valdis Story, Dust, Cave story, Bunny Must Die, VVVVVV, Super Win the Game, Aquaria...

Like Rogue Galaxy, no game listed above is 100% pure Metroidvania (neither is Unepic), but have all the open 2D core elements nonetheless.

It's hard to find a really pure Metroidvania outside Metroids and...Castlevanias lol
