How to add friend in Steam

damn hell im fed up with this Steam can't add a single friend in steam client.

every time i add a friend button it gives me an error that some features of steam community will be available after you add a game to it...

i've alredy added Dota 2 & playing it regularly then why the hell i cant add a single frined :@

my 2 friend added me they either dont have a game they bought they also playing dota 2 free...only i cant add another friend :-\

They could have bought a game, and sent you a friend request witch would now be pending until you buy a game.

no they haven't...they r my neighbours & in my country we cant bear to buy a single game that's why i knw them

I just went on you're profile page and I see you're two friends are on you're list check the bottom right of you're steam page for the friends list and click it.

yes they are because they've added me but now i want to add my third friend which i cant add & he also cant add me same reasons

low level steam users have a small friend list limit, you need to gain steam levels to gain a larger list.
