How to search for steam group abbreviations?

I'm trying to find one which is in use, but when I search for it I'm only getting groups with additional Symbols in the name... Also is there a way to sort the searched groups by member count?

You can only search for a group name.

The best way to search for members in a group is going to the members page and pressing CTRL+F to bring up the search bar and then typing in the name of the person you're looking for

I'm trying to find a group by its clan tag, the "short name" of the group that stands in front of your name ingame

Yes i know, but there is no way to search for the abbreviations of a group. You can only search up groups by their full name.

Noone cares for the full group name, you only see the short names ingame..

Sometimes Google might help. Enter "site:steamcommunity,com [tag here]", and it'll show you all the pages with that tag. It may take some digging to get to the group you want.

It's not that simple. It's 3 letters tag, so it's almost impossible to find it this way.
