Need help-Streaming wont load

Last night.. Everything was fine streaming wise Public and my Friends I could watch them all. However recently this morning every stream I try to watch Friends..Public it doesn't matter. "An unexpected error occurred while playing this video" is the error I get as the loading fails over and over, and I can't find a solution.

Since I woke up this morning to watch some Witcher 3 I've been having the same problem, I haven't tried public streams, but have tried some of my friends streams and none work :/. Tried re-installing, opting in and out of the Beta for Steam, restarting computer and Steam multiple times, dunno what to do at this point.

Yes , problem is still the same; with no way to resolve it.

is it some glitch? or is it because too many people are watching/ playing the game? because it worked the first night. I watched it, and now it's just "loading" indefinitely

It doesnt seem to matter in my case - No streams will get past that error - and when I try chrome it loads for eternity and never gets past that.

Same here. I tried watching other games besides the witcher on the client and chrome, and those games do the same "loading" too. Since it worked for both of us the same night before and now it's busted, they must have updated something and it's gone bad. it sucks we all have to helplessly be at steams mercy and hope they fix it.

Unable to watch friends games. they are playing warhammer. I do not have warhammer installed. should this be a problem?

no you should be able to see it either way even if it's not installed, you are just watching

have you tried viewing people's broadcasts that are near the region/ state you live? I tried that and it works with those. But if I pick a different/ further away region, it doesn't load again.

I have - it doesnt seem to matter - local regional national international it went litteraly from working to this in about 12 hours.. and the only update was a graphics drivers which I rolled back to see if it was the issue (ofc it wasnt but I had to try and see) so none of this makes sense to me; I used to be able to watch these broadcasts now I just get unexpected errors
