If I get a 100 dollar USD steam card and I'm Canadian
Will I get 100 CAD or will the 100 transfer into CAD?

it depends on where you buy it, you have to get the CAD cards, otherwise you will be using currency that doesnt add up with CAD.

Are there country restrictions on Steam Wallet codes?

Steam Wallet codes do not have any country restrictions and can be redeemed worldwide.

Can I redeem a Steam Wallet code that is in a different currency?

Yes, however you will be prompted to convert the value of the Steam Wallet code to the currency of your Steam Wallet as shown below. The daily currency conversion rate will be applied.

Hi everyone. I live in México and just checked the Daily Currency Conversion Rate which is 1USD = 19.2573MXN. Right now, there is a person selling a 100USD card for 1600MXN. If I were to buy that card, would I receive 1925.73MXN on my Steam Account or would I receive a different amount?

if a person is selling steam cards, I would walk away.

is it a store/business selling this or is it a random person?

+agree

That person could have purchased them using stolen bank card information in which the transaction will be classed as a fraudulent purchase and that Steam wallet card will be revoked.

Or

That person owns the cards used to purchase the wallets but will claim their card lost/stolen and have the charges revoked.

Either way the money is taken from Steam and Valve will then place restrictions on your account until the money is return to their accounts. As you don't own the cards used to make the purchase you can't do this. Valve also won't allow you to use another payment method to transfer the funds. It has to be done by reversing the chargeback on the original purchase.

Bottom line if this happens your account is screwed permanently.
