Removing "Now Playing" status for Software

I've downloaded Mosaico for windows desktop which is just a window-management tool. The problem is, the program runs CONSTANTLY in the background, and because of this, my status is always "Now Playing: Mosaico", and when I actually play a game such as CS:GO my friends have no idea. Is there a way to remove this now playing status for software?

Not possible. Maybe Valve will someday bother to offer developers a way to disable it. Don't count on it though.

I'm pretty sure they already can. Dimmdrive had the same problem, and they fixed it.

Fix added to stop the "In-App Dimmdrive" from showing up as the game you are playing. After running Dimmdrive for an initial ~5 minutes (required by Steam/Valve to write a review), Dimmdrive will automatically hide itself from the "In-App XYZ" setting. This will enable you to play any game and all your friends will see that specific game, instead of Dimmdrive, that you're playing! Note: Because you are no longer "In-App Dimmdrive" you will not accrue "Time Played" while using Dimmdrive and will always hover around 0.2 - 0.4 hours or so. This applies to all new customers after this update occurs.

So maybe ask Mosaico's devs if they can do the same thing.
