graphic card fan goes crazy
I have a geforce gtx 760 graphic card. And when I play some games the graphic card gets really loud. And the thing is this problem seems to happen when I don't activate vsync in games. For example: I can't play The witcher 2 on lowest settings and lowest resolution if I have vsync off because even then the fan goes crazy. But If I activate it I can play the game on on almost the highest settings without problems for hours. And then there is another problem. Games that I could play before like assassins creed unity and dying light i could play without problems. But if I try to play them now my fans goes crazy. I can play games like assassins creed rouge and gta v without any problems. So I really need help to know what the problem is. Thank You.

Yea it's supposed to. How else it going to keep the GPU cooled under heavy loads.
Some games will run hotter CPU/GPU temps than others, that is normal, based on loads.

Just monitor the CPU & GPU Temps and see how hot it is getting while under load and/or while the fans spin up to those higher speeds.

Most likely you require better case fans, or more of them to increase overall airflow throughout the system. Ambient room temp could be a major factor here too.

When is the last time u blow out all the dust in the system? Do it every few months and keep it clean and that can help too.

The reason you see this happen more often when you disable Vertical Synchronization, is because your framerate goes higher, therefore your videocard does more work than it does with Vertical Synchronization enabled.

Like Bad-Motha suggested, try taking care of the dust. It could also be your GPU fan's bearings. If it's just loud; and there's no odd noises - then it's likely just the heat the dust contributes to.

Thank You for the reply. Might be as you say since the problem cant be dust in the fan. Forgot do note that this was a problem from the first day I bought the computer.

Are you 100% sure it's the videocard fan? While the computer is on, press the fan (from the middle) to stop it for a second and see if the noise stops as well.

You might want to request RMA on the card, if it's under warranty and it bothers you enough.

EDIT: Just out of curiousity, how are the temperatures themselves?

typically; CPU, GPU and PSU all have auto-controlled, variable RPM fans; and as such are controlled by sensors so that the fan RPMs are increased/decreased based on loads/temps. Unless perhaps u are over-riding this via fan profiles, manually set via software or fan controller.

So if un-sure about whether it is really a problem or not, seek out help from local friends or perhaps a tech who can help u in person. Also check all the fans yourself to ensure nothing has stopped working (such as a case fan perhaps) that could be affecting overall system temps and causing the rest of the fans to pick up the slack.

Thank you so much for the help. I found the problem......It was dirty...... Even though I just had cleaned it before this time there was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of dust in the computer. Sorry for being stupid. Problem solved

Try to make use of fan filters and/or cases with fan filters already. Try to avoid case on the floor or carpet. If you have hairy pets or live in a dusty/sandy area, u may just need to clean more often to avoid issues with such devices.
