Not enough privileges for broadcasting? Help!

Whenever I try to access broadcasting, the only thing I see is "your account does not have sufficient privileges to broadcast live streams."

I went to the FAQ and it said that I had to own one game on steam to utilize the broadcasting service, and that I couldn't be community banned. (which I isn't, this is my first post here)

I've already bought own two games on steam with my credit card, so that shouldn't be the issue either.

I've also seen that if you don't spend 5$~ on steam you will be blocked from certain features, but I couldn't find broadcasting on the list. My account was also created before the 5$ system was launched, so I already have a level and some friends.

So why can I add friends and post on the community, but not broadcast my gaming session?

All help appreciated.

It says:

What are the account requirements for broadcasting?

Accounts that meet the following requirements are able to broadcast games:

1. Have made a purchase on Steam and are therefore non-limited accounts
2. Are not currently Community Banned

I also believe that broadcast is part of the Steam web API what is listed as something what only unlimited accounts can have. Are you sure you are not limited?

Tried to see of I could add new friends but I could't, seems like I kept my data but not my privileges.

Guess I'll have to find a game for 3$ then, can't access anything but the store and library anymore.

Well yepp. With this new 5 USD rule is now hard do determine who is limited and who not.

Before any games from Steam shop was enough, now you can get level 1 or 2 with some cheap games and still be limited.
